3,300 People Died Of AIDS In Mizoram Since 1990: Official

Around 3,300 people have died of complications caused by Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) in Mizoram since the deadly virus was first detected in the state in 1990, a senior health department official said on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion of World AIDS day, state Health Secretary R Lalramnghaka said that a total of 25,080 people has been infected with HIV since 1990.
