Leader of House in SDMC Inderjeet Sehrawat on Thursday said a resolution has been passed in a general meeting of the corporation to deseal properties, excluding those which have been sealed due to any court order. In a statement, he claimed that the resolution was passed with a voice vote. Minneapolis, Dec 23 (AP) The jury reached a trial outcome Thursday in the manslaughter trial of suburban Minneapolis police officer Kim Potter, who shot and killed Black motorist Daunte Wright after she says she mistook her gun for her Taser. Court spokesman Nik Nadeau said he did not know whether the notice of a trial outcome published on a state court website meant that verdicts had been reached. Child Sexually Assaulted By Man In Central Delhi

A seven-year-old girl was sexually assaulted during a marriage function in central Delhi's Ranjit Nagar area, police said on Tuesday. The incident took place on Sunday, they said. According to police, the victim told her parents about the incident who later informed police. The victim gave a statement in front of a doctor and counsellor that she was sexually assaulted by an unknown person during a wedding function, following which a case has been registered, a senior police officer said. The medical examination of the girl was conducted and she is said to be stable, police said. During investigation, police arrested the accused who was identified as Naresh Chandra (38), a battery rickshaw driver, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) Shweta Chauhan said. Jharkhand Engineer Caught Accepting Bribe, Arrested

A junior engineer of the Jharkhand government's Public Works Department (PWD) was arrested by the sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Hazaribag, on Wednesday allegedly for accepting a bribe for clearing the bill of a contractor, an official said. West Bengal's COVID-19 toll rose to 19,498 after 12 more people succumbed to the virus on Wednesday, a bulletin released by the state's health department said. The tally also mounted to 16,16,751 with 668 fresh cases, it said. The city and its neighbouring North 24 Parganas district accounted for four deaths each, followed by Nadia (2). West Bengal now has 7,712 active cases, while 15,89,541 people have recovered from the disease, including 675 since Tuesday, the bulletin said. 3,300 People Died Of AIDS In Mizoram Since 1990: Official

Around 3,300 people have died of complications caused by Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) in Mizoram since the deadly virus was first detected in the state in 1990, a senior health department official said on Wednesday.
